Written by Ronn Kerr, illustrated by Bill McPheeters. An illustrated version of an actual event in early Methodist history when John Wesley was traveling and preaching in England. Wesley was accosted by a group of ruffians including one that was a prize fighter. In the midst of the scuffle, Wesley prayed for the men who were threatening him and it so impressed the prize fighter that he rescued Wesley and eventually became one of Methodism's lay preachers. The story highlights both the courage and dynamic spirit of Wesley and the circuit rider/lay preacher structure of early Methodism.

The comic is twelve 7 1/2 x 9" pages with more than 50 action frames and a full-color cover.
