Written by Ronn Kerr, illustrated by Bill McPheeters. The story evolves around the adventures of a fictional but historically accurate circuit rider who meets up with a frontiersman on the trail. They are ambushed by thieves but escape to flee to Fort Nashboro where their wounds are treated and, later the circuit rider Jason Young holds services, preaches, serves the sacrament and baptizes. The next morning, he visits homes, stores, taverns, and the prisoners in the jail. In the afternoon, he teaches Bible to a group of children before holding another series of services in the evening. The next day, he heads out for the next town down the road of his circuit. When his new frontiersman friend asks him why he takes such chances and follows such a rigorous regime, Jason says, "You, Jeremiah, are the reason I do it! God loves you. Christ died for you. And, I'm here to share that news with you."

The comic is twelve 7 1/2 x 9" pages with more than 50 action frames and a full-color cover.
